Why does acting for the camera look so easy? Because it is!
The four-hour Film Acting Intensive Boot Camp shows actors the power and possibilities of not making choices and how to clear their heads from stuff about their character and other things that get in the way of listening to their scene partner. This is a unique acting class helps actors discover how to “be in the moment” and to trust that amazing things will happen once the camera starts rolling.
Students will learn an amazing technique for learning lines quickly, a stress-free way to audition, and the one simple little secret that every Hollywood actor knows. Class includes on-camera work, too! It will change the way you think about acting in front of the camera and the way you watch movies. It’s that awesome. Really.
The Film Acting Boot Camp is usually held the third Sunday afternoon of every month and is offered exclusively through The Bug Theatre’s Emerging Filmmakers Project.
